چکیده
Abstract Background Coronavirus disease 2019 is a systemic entity, where cardiac involvement has been described. The echocardiogram diagnostic tool that describes myocardial damage with good certainty. Objectives Determine which echocardiographic parameters are predictors of mortality. Analyze if there difference in clinical, laboratory and variables terms patients who died versus those survived. Investigate the cut-off point best associated Methods Prospective, analytical, comparative study. Patients admitted to hospital infection. Clinical, will be assessed. association three-month mortality different determined. We used ROC-curves for was analized using Cox regression, unadjusted analysis performed, as well adjusted age gender. Results 84 were included, 29% documented. Significant differences found left atrial volumen index, E/e', proportion dilatation right ventricle diastolic dysfunction. Tricuspid annulus anterior systolic excursion (TAPSE), pulmonary artery acceleration time (PAA), tricuspid regurgitation velocity (TRV), pressure (PASP), ventricular longitudinal strain (LVGLS), atrium (LAGLS) free wall (RVFWLS). Right dilation, shortening fraction, TAPSE, PASP, TRV, LVGLS, LAGLS, RVFWLS Conclusion FUNDunding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None. Table 2

Echocardiographic Parameters as Cardiovascular Mortality Predictors in Chronic Hemodialysis Patients
Background: Hemodialysis (HD) patients have high rates of cardiovascular (CV) mortality. Although structural and functional echocardiographic alterations in HD patients have been the subject of several survival analysis studies, the prognostic value of these alterations is not well established. The aim of this study was to determine the prognostic value of echocardiographic parameters in chroni...

BACKGROUND Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on hemodialysis have high rates of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Although structural and functional echocardiographic alterations in patients undergoing hemodialysis have been the subject of several survival analysis studies, the prognostic value of these alterations is not well established in literature. متن کاملClinical Case Series of Gastrointestinal Symptoms in Patients with Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Infection
IMPORTANCE: Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), various digestive symptoms have been frequently reported in a significant portion of patients infected with the virus. It is well established that most patients with COVID-19 have fever along with respiratory signs and symptoms, such as cough and dyspnea. We present 36 cases with chief complaint of gastrointestinal (GI) symp...
متن کاملEchocardiographic Parameters as Predictors of In-Hospital Mortality in Patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Different ways have been used to stratify risk in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients. The aim of the study was to examine the usefulness of echocardiographic parameters as predictors of in-hospital outcome in patients with ACS after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). A data of 2030 patients with diagnosis of ACS hospitalized from December 2008 to December 2011 was used to develop a r...
